"At times I feel as if I am spread out over the landscape and inside things and am myself living in every tree, in the plashing of the waves, in the clouds and the animals that come and go - in the procession of the seasons." C.G.Jung MDR

Holding a space

This week at Dream group some of you were busy tending your passionate lives: Lex and her Chaplaincy Program; Anna preparing her art and poetry for the public; Marilyn caring for her beloved horse. So Janet, Paloma, CL, Karen and I held a space for them. You need not be present to be present.

Minute Awe

A dreaming practice

A Florida dreamer told me about this practice of incubating a dream: Because our bodies are composed largely of water, fill a glass with water before going to bed. When you're about ready to sleep, hold the glass between both hands and energize the water with whatever intention you hold for a dream. The intention can be specific ("Please help me resolve the problem with my sister.") or general ("I ask for guidance about my next steps."). Then drink half the glass of water, and go to sleep. In the morning, finish the glass of water before getting up to start your day. Be aware of dreams or waking intuitions, sudden insights, and helpful synchronicities that might speak directly to your request for guidance.

love to all,

Meredith (dreamer 1)
